AI and You: A Guide to the Use of Generative AI in Your Education (slide template)

Educators can download this free UCL slide template and adapt it into a one-hour lecture for induction week, a term-one core module, or an asynchronous video, introducing students to what generative AI is and how it may be used in their education. Readers can frame assessment rules using UCL's three categories, which run from prohibiting generative AI beyond specified exceptions, through permitted use for specific purposes, to assessments where extensive supported use is encouraged, and can require students to acknowledge any AI assistance with prose editing, translation or image generation.
