ADA Title II Compliance Checklist

This page breaks the Title II digital accessibility rule down into per-format tasks — Word and PowerPoint files, PDFs, video captions, the material you post in the learning management system — so you can work through your own course rather than read the regulation. It is written against Southern Illinois University's own April 2027 deadline and names that date throughout, but the requirement it implements is the federal WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard, so the task lists transfer to any public institution once you substitute your own compliance date.
